• Providing excitation control cabinets and electrical panel cabinets

• Fix mechanical and electrical problems that occur during operation.

2. Typical technical activities during the year

• Advise on issues related to GEC's technical work, and propose solutions to optimize operations to increase operational efficiency.
• Supervise and coordinate work with Power Plants to ensure equipment is ready and operating continuously.
• Monitor and coordinate the implementation of annual repair plans with optimal costs and flexible time to reduce loss of electricity generation revenue.
• Supervise the production and operation of GEC's Hydropower Plants to ensure compliance with regulations of the
• Electricity Industry. Aiming to complete the annual revenue target from electricity business activities.
• Technical coordination, supervision and periodic inspection of Hydropower Plants
• Complete implementation of technical services for internal and external customers. Revenue from providing services to customers in 2023 will reach 5.3 billion VND.

 

3. Technology, innovation and production rationalization

• Continue to implement technological solutions, improvement plans and production rationalization to reduce costs during the operation of Hydropower Plants.
• Be proactive in repairing backup equipment, ensuring replacement in case of equipment damage and reducing machine downtime.
• Review and adjust regulatory documents to support operations at power plants to ensure safety, technical compliance and according to State regulations.
• For Hydropower and Solar Power: GEC has many years of experience in the process of installing, operating and repairing Power Plants. At the same time, GEC has been completely proactive in technology.
• For Wind Power, Biomass Power and Hydrogen: With the advantage of having a team of experienced staff, GEC actively learns and grasps these new technologies.

 

4. Technical training activities

• The technical team is trained annually to grasp new technologies, update necessary knowledge and skills, and gradually develop a team of skilled engineers to ensure internal operation management and towards providing external services.
• Complete annual electrical safety training courses for 330 employees of GEC and member companies. At the same time, participate in training courses organized by GEC. Through these training courses, the team of engineers and workers operating the factories are updated with new information and knowledge.
